What is biodiesel?

-The advantages for the environment are enormous including reduced carbon dioxide emissions, no sulfur emissions, and lower carcinogenic.
How does biodiesel compare to straight vegetable oil (SVO)?
-Biodiesel does not require a conversion of a diesel vehicle, but the fuel must be refined from the vegetable oil. SVO requires a simple conversion of the vehicle (most notably adding a second tank to start up and shut down on petro-diesel or biodiesel and installing heating source for the SVO).
